Plot Summary

The Garrity family has endured by living in a bunker beneath Greenland. When a massive earthquake collapses the bunker, a sudden evacuation turns into tragedy as a tsunami destroys the facility, killing most of the survivors.
John, Allison, Nathan, and scientist Dr. Amina escape on a lifeboat with only a handful of people, eventually reaching a devastated Europe. Along the way, violent conflicts, lawlessness, and desperate survivors push them to the brink.
