Plot Summary
In 1944, Finland surrenders Karelia to the Soviet Union following the devastation of war. Two years later, Aatami Korpi—known as “the man who refuses to die”—returns to the land where his family was brutally killed. With unbreakable resolve, he loads the remains of his home onto a truck and begins a perilous journey toward rebuilding his life.
But danger stirs when the Red Army learns of his presence. KGB officials release Igor Draganov, a ruthless killer imprisoned in Siberia, promising him freedom if he eliminates Aatami, who previously wiped out entire Soviet units in the Winter War.
A relentless pursuit ensues. Aatami fends off squads, evades air assaults, survives a plunge into the ocean, and even transforms wreckage into makeshift survival vehicles.
