Pandora's Guardians: The Epic Return of Jake Sully and Family in the Battle to Save Pandora
Sixteen years after the Na'vi successfully drove back the Resources Development Administration (RDA) from Pandora, Jake Sully is now chief of the Omatikaya clan and raising his family with Neytiri. Their children include two sons, Neteyam and Lo'ak; a daughter, Tuktirey ("Tuk"); and their adopted daughter Kiri, who was born from Dr. Grace Augustine’s dormant avatar. Miles "Spider" Socorro, the son of the late Colonel Miles Quaritch, often visits them, growing up among human scientists still on Pandora. The RDA returns to colonize Pandora, now led by Recombinants—Na'vi avatars implanted with the memories of fallen human soldiers—and a recombinant Quaritch at the forefront. Jake leads guerrilla resistance against the invaders. During a raid, Quaritch and his team capture Jake’s children, but Jake and Neytiri rescue them. Quaritch then captures Spider, recognizing him as his son, and after failed interrogations, bonds with Spider, who teaches him Na'vi culture and language—though Spider's knowledge poses a threat.
Fearing danger, Jake’s family relocates to the oceanic territory of the Metkayina clan. Here, Kiri forms a spiritual bond with the sea, and the family helps Chief Tonowari and his wife Ronal. Lo'ak befriends Tsireya, their daughter, but after a confrontation with Tonowari’s son Aonung—who mocks Kiri—Lo'ak is pressured to apologize. Aonung and friends invite Lo'ak on a hunting trip, which leads him into danger from a sea predator. Saved by Payakan, a peaceful Tulkun (whale-like creature revered by the Metkayina), Lo'ak befriends him. Returning home, Lo'ak earns Aonung’s friendship but learns Payakan is an outcast. Kiri, during a vision linked to the Spirit Tree, nearly drowns when she suffers a seizure, prompting her family to seek medical help. She is diagnosed with epilepsy, and it's warned she must not connect with the Spirit Tree again.
Quaritch tracks Norm and Max’s aircraft to the Metkayina community, bringing Spider along. Using a hunting vessel, Quaritch’s forces raid the area, killing Tulkuns and destroying villages to lure Jake out. Lo'ak learns from Payakan that the Tulkun was driven out because he attacked humans who killed his mother, revealing the extent of the violence.
When the Metkayina learn about the Tulkun slaughter, Lo'ak, joined by his siblings, warns Payakan. They find him being hunted and are captured by Quaritch. Jake, Neytiri, and the Metkayina fight to rescue them. Quaritch captures Jake, but Payakan attacks the ship, igniting a battle. Spider helps cripple the vessel, and Neteyam rescues Lo'ak, Tsireya, and Spider but is killed in the process. Overwhelmed by grief, Jake and Neytiri vow to save their daughters. In a final stand, Quaritch takes Kiri hostage, but Neytiri threatens to do the same with Spider, forcing Quaritch to back off. The battle culminates inside a sinking ship, where Jake knocks Quaritch unconscious. Lo'ak and Payakan rescue him, and Kiri, Neytiri, and Tuk are saved. Spider, having the chance to kill Quaritch, instead rejects him, choosing to stay with Jake.
After Neteyam’s funeral, Jake considers leaving the Metkayina, but Tonowari, honoring the family’s connection to the clan, welcomes them to stay. The family begins their new life at sea, committed to fighting the RDA and protecting Pandora.
