Happy Life in Kolkata → Tragedy in Chandrapur
Ambika, her husband Shubhankar, and their daughter Shweta live contentedly in Kolkata. After Shubhankar’s father dies, he travels to his ancestral village, Chandrapur, to manage the family estate. Soon after his arrival, Shubhankar dies under mysterious supernatural circumstances—a splinter from the roots of a tree near the ancestral house becomes embedded in his shoe, causing death .

Return to Chandrapur, Disappearance, and Danger
Grief-stricken, Ambika and Shweta return to sell the property. However, young girls from the village begin disappearing shortly after their first menstruation—Shweta included—prompting Ambika to stay and uncover the truth .

Ancient Curse and Mother’s Transformation
Ambika uncovers a terrifying ancient curse linked to a blood daitya (demon) named Aamsaja—whose mythology is tied to human sacrifice, Kali Puja, and a haunted tree believed to hold evil power. As Aamsaja's influence grows, Ambika undergoes a spiritual transformation: she channels the divine wrath of Goddess Kali, emerging as a fierce protector. In the climax, she confronts the supernatural evil to rescue Shweta and the other missing girls .
