"Shadow Force: Love, Deception, and the Fight for Freedom"

Eight years ago, Kyrah Owens and Issac Sarr led a covert multinational elite unit called Shadow Force, a CIA-backed clandestine operations team responsible for targeted assassinations in service of the U.S. government under the command of Jack Cinder. Their lives changed forever when they fell in love; Kyrah became pregnant with their son, Ky, and the couple went underground to shield their family from the dangerous world they inhabited. Cinder, notorious for his volatile temper and refusal to accept defeat, viewed their desertion as treason—especially since he had a personal obsession with Kyrah. After leaving the CIA, Cinder climbed the ranks to become Secretary General of the G7, but his dark past has recently come under intense scrutiny by the U.S. Inspector General’s office. With Cinder relentlessly dispatching assassination squads to hunt them, Kyrah takes on the role of bait, leading Cinder’s killers away from her family while eliminating them one by one. Their lives take a dangerous turn when Issac and Ky find themselves caught in the chaos of a bank holdup. When one of the robbers threatens his son, Issac intervenes, neutralizing the threat and unwittingly drawing media attention. Cinder sees the footage and, upon discovering that the Sarrs have a child, brands them as enemies before the G7 leaders and calls in Shadow Force for the kill. Forced to flee, Issac and Kyra retreat with Ky—who is at best vaguely aware of his parents’ past—to a hidden jungle refuge in Colombia, where Kyrah joins them. With their lives on the line, they resolve to confront Cinder before he can wipe them out, enlisting help from Kyrah’s relatives, Auntie and Unc, who are CIA contacts. As they move to a new hideout, they barely escape an ambush by Shadow Force, suspecting that either Unc or Auntie has betrayed them. Reaching Cartagena and separating from her family, Kyrah contacts Cinder and demands a personal meeting on his private island off Cartagena—warning that if she doesn’t, she’ll expose every one of his secrets to the Inspector General. Meanwhile, Issac and Ky meet with Auntie and Unc in Bogotá. On the island, Kyrah and Cinder’s confrontation erupts into chaos. Kyrah tries to shoot him, only to be foiled by her hidden Kevlar vest. Soon after, she, Issac, Auntie, and Unc are captured by Shadow Force. It’s revealed that Unc has been Cinder’s mole all along—a suspicion Auntie had long harbored. The tide turns when Cinder’s aides, Patrick and Parker, reveal themselves as officers of the Inspector General’s office, tracking his criminal activities. A fierce gunfight ensues, wounding Cinder, Patrick, and Parker, while Shadow Force is annihilated. In the chaos, Kyrah is wounded and taken hostage by Cinder. As Issac arrives, she silently gives him permission to shoot—through her shoulder—so they can finally finish him. They overpower and kill Cinder, ending his reign of terror. Six months later, the Sarrs live openly as civilians. When Auntie calls with news of her new, morally upright Shadow Force, Kyrah declines the offer for now. During Ky’s birthday celebration, Kyrah reveals to Issac that she’s pregnant again, hinting at a new chapter for their family. Download Button
