Sanam Teri Kasam, a 2016 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama, marked the Bollywood debuts of Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane. Directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, and produced by Deepak Mukut, the film also stars Anurag Sinha, Manish Chaudhari, Murli Sharma and Sudesh Berry. While the film is said to be inspired by the Hollywood movie "A Walk to Remember" (2002), it's an unofficial remake of the same and is also described as a modern take on the legends of Shiva-Sati and the novel Love Story by Eric Segal.
